How long do I have to stay off my driveway?

We usually recommend that you stay off completely for 24 hours if possible to allow for the sealer to cure properly. However, typically you can walk on newly sealed asphalt 6-8 hours after completion and drive/ park on it 24 hours after completion.

How frequent should I have my driveway sealed?

We recommend for new asphalt 6-12 months after installation. Then every two years after.

There are tire marks showing in my driveway, will they go away?

Yes. Although 90% of the curing process happens within the first 24 hours the other 10% continues to cure over the next few weeks which can cause tire marks when someone turns their wheels back and forth in your driveway/parking lot. But the good news is, yes, they will go away over time.

What does the temperature need to be?

Per specs from manufacturer the temperature needs to be 50 degrees or higher for 24 hours for at least one week before we start sealing in the spring and then remain consistent throughout the entire season. Without drying agents and additives sealing under the recommended temperatures will cause improper an curing process.

Do I need to be home for an estimate or for you to complete the job?

As much as we love to see our customers we understand that life gets busy. The simple answer to both questions is, No. We set out to complete estimates in the order as they come in. You do not need to be home. We will measure and leave an estimate for you. As far as being home for the job, you do not need to be home for that either. As long as the garage and driveway are free of vehicles we will complete the job while you are away and you do not need to pay until the job is done.

It rained and you just sealed my driveway. Did it wash away?

Typically your driveway is safe from rain 4-6 hours after completion and sometimes sooner in warmer temperatures. Good news is, we 100% guarantee our work! So we will come over to inspect and we will re seal the entire driveway for free, if need be.
